php5-cgi software package provides server-side, HTML-embedded scripting language (CGI binary), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install php5-cgi
php5-cgi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the php5-cgi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep php5-cgi *
You will get with php5-cgi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
